Dr. Sean Moore, emergency physician, can be found caring for patients in the Emergency Department, supporting LWDH colleagues, and mentoring Northern Ontario School of Medicine University medical students. He is passionate about rural and remote medicine and is dedicated to the health and well-being of Kenora and area residents. Whether he is working as a Transport Medicine Physician at Ornge or helping to raise money to modernize our equipment, Dr. Moore’s focus on the best care for patients of Northwestern Ontario is ever-present.
Dr. Moore and his family have called Kenora home for many generations and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Dr. Moore recognizes the impact of the new Diagnostic Imaging Centre of Excellence including the new MRI. He says, “The hardest thing in practicing medicine is to not have access to the tools you need to do your job. It’s going to absolutely make a huge difference in our ability to find out what the actual diagnosis is for so many different types of problems.”
