As the Beyond The Scan Campaign approaches its final month, the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation is delighted and grateful for the tremendous support received from our community and region.
Since the campaign was launched on February 12th, the generosity shown by our donors has been nothing short of transformational. Thanks to their support, we’re one step closer to bringing Kenora’s first MRI, a new CT scanner, advanced mammography equipment and more to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Prior to launching the campaign publicly this winter, the LWDHF was quietly working ‘behind-the-scenes’ to secure financial commitments. This allowed us to publicly launch the campaign with incredible momentum – 80% of our $8.5M goal already raised.
Over the past several weeks, the LWDHF has been celebrating a number of these remarkable donations – donations that were made in the early days, which provided the foundational support for this campaign. The LWDHF is grateful to many donors who chose to lend their support quietly as momentum was built for this project.
Now, the LWDHF continues to celebrate all donations—whether made months ago or today. Every gift brings us closer to realizing the vision of transforming imaging together.
Thanks to the FDC Foundation, donations made between February 12 and April 30, 2025, are being matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $2 million.
An update on the campaign’s progress will be provided next week, following the close of the fiscal year. We are excited to share our continued progress and the growing impact of your support.
