Blind Book Date

LWDH Foundation’s First Blind Book Date Sale

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation was delighted to host its first ever Blind Book Date Sale on Saturday, April 25th at Iron & Clay.

A Blind Book Date is where each book is wrapped and labeled with hints – no titles or covers – so you’re choosing your next read based purely on intrigue! The best part? Every purchase helps support the Lake of the Woods District Hospital’s Rehabilitation Department refresh.

It was inspiring to see our community turn a love of reading into a meaningful investment in local healthcare at LWDH. Each purchase, share, like, and visit helped support vital equipment and care right here at LWDH, making a real difference for patients and families in our community.

Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, every single book found a home — selling out well before 2:00pm!

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Jamie and the wonderful staff at Iron & Clay for allowing us to host our event in their space, and to everyone who took the time to donate books. This would not have been as much of a success if it wasn’t for your generosity.
