Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:
A series of draws will be held from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Any bonus or early bird ticket sale deadlines will be at 10:00 am (CST) on the dates of the Early Bird Draws listed below and draws immediately following the deadline. Early Bird winner’s tickets are also included in the Grand Prize draw for the specified draw period. Monthly grand prize ticket sales will close at 11:59 pm (CST) the night before the draw day. The Grand prize draws will be held at 11:00 am (CST) on the dates below. Ticket sales for the following draw will open at 11:30 am (CST), following the Grand Prize draw.
Purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to play and in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
Tickets are: 20 numbers for $10, 60 numbers for $20, 200 numbers for $40 and 500 numbers for $60. Ticket sales are final.
Tickets are purchased online through our lottery vendor Raffle Nexus Canada Inc. through our website www.lwdhf5050.ca . Tickets can be purchased using cash, at the Foundation Office located at 21 Sylvan St. West, Kenora, Ontario P9N 3W7. LWDHF staff will process the transaction through the online lottery vendor and print tickets for the customer if no email address exists.
Players will receive a LWDHF 5050 Official ticket to the email specified at time of purchasing, after the purchase is completed and payment is processed. Numbers are generated randomly by the vendors lottery system; no specific numbers can be given.
The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG) of our raffle vendor. Winner(s) will be verified against the information on file when the ticket was purchased through our website.
Winners will be notified by phone by the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation. If we cannot reach the winner by phone after 2 attempts, an email will be sent provided at time of purchase.

Winners will be requested to produce government photo identification that matches details in our vendors lottery system for the ticket(s) purchased. Winners will be asked to consent to release of their names and/or pictures by licensee. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
All prizes will be paid by cheque and in Canadian Funds. Arrangements will be made with the winners when they are notified and verified as to the manner that they will receive their cheque. Cheques may be picked up in person with prior notice at LWDH Foundation, 21 Sylvan St. West, Kenora, or arrangements made to send cheques via registered mail to winners verified address.
Any prizes which are not claimed will be secured and placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw.
If at the end of six (6) months if the prize the has still not been claimed, the prize monies will be donated to will be donated to the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win: Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation Staff and volunteer Foundation Board of Directors; as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law.
