Why It Matters
State-of-the-Art Equipment: This campaign funds the first MRI in Kenora, a new CT scanner, and a mammography unit with advanced features like stereotactic biopsies and contrast-enhanced imaging.
Community Impact: Each year, thousands of patients rely on our hospital for diagnostic imaging services. By upgrading our equipment, we can reduce wait times and eliminate the need for travel to distant facilities.
Local Funding, Local Benefit: While the government is covering operational and construction costs for the MRI suite, it’s up to our community to fund the medical equipment that makes it functional.
